Stop in to see the amazing pieces from our March Little Gallery Artist, Adam Alvarez of Comic Aferlife.
Join us for a Watercolor Glass with John Glass on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Deming Arts Center. John will be presenting a class in Andrew Wyeth style using the painting pictured with the event. The painting will be 8 x 10 with a 11 x 14 mat. This project will involve the use a pen to create some portions of the painting. All materials and paints will be supplied. The price of the class is $35.00 and must be paid at the time of sign up. Stop by to meet the artists of the April 2025 Deming High School Student Show. The open house will take place on Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 1PM- 2:30PM.
Check out the Latino Cultural Artists and the variety of pieces that will be on display. The exhibit will be up from May 2-30, 2025 (closed Memorial Day). There will be a time to meet the artists on Sunday, May 4, 2025, from 1PM- 2:30PM.
The annual Luna County Fine Arts & Crafts Show will be presented as the June 2025 exhibit at the Deming Art Center. Stop in to meet the artists on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 1PM- 2:30PM. Featured will be local artists and crafters from Luna County. It showcases many different mediums including painting, sculpture, fiber arts, jewelry and more. Anyone living in Luna County is eligible to participate with up to 3 items. The exhibit will be up from June 3-28, 2025.
Stop in to meet the artists of the 2025 Annual Quilt Show on Sunday, March 2, 2025 from 1-2:30 PM. The DAC turns into a wonderland of color and an exciting fabric display in March. The show will exhibit bed-size quilts, along with wall hangings, challenges, dolls, bead art and smaller quilted items. Many will be for sale. The exhibit will be up from March 2-30, 2025.
Join us for an acrylic workshop in a bag class with Rebecca Bryant on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 13:30 pm to 3:30 pm at the Deming Arts Center. In this class you will receive a bag containing acrylic paints, brushes, paint tray, table top easel and canvas. Rebecca will be using two photographs for this class. You will be making your own creation and learn about composition. All materials and paints will be supplied. The price of the class is $75 and must be paid at the time of sign up. You are invited to meet the February 2025 featured artist, Rebecca Bryant on Sunday, February 2, from 1 - 2:30 PM. The Deming Art Center will feature a solo exhibit by a fairly new resident of Deming, Rebecca Bryant. She arrived in Deming at sunset on December 2, 2022, with her family, a sense of humor, and her art supplies. Come check out her pieces throughout the month. The exhibit will be up from February 2 – 27, 2025.

The boutique will run from December 3-30, 2024, and there will be a time to meet the artists on Sunday, December 8, from 1-2:30 PM. Closed on Christmas.
Join us for the 2024 Deming Arts Festival held at the First United Methodist Church. This event will feature original art and fine handcrafts designed and produced by local artists. The art will consist of acrylics, pastels, pencil, pen and ink, oils, watercolor, jewelry, photography, potter, sculpture, metals and mixed media.

Join us for our July 2024 Fire and Fiber Show Open House! Stop by to check out the show presented by The Potter’ s Guild of Las Cruces and meet the artists. There are 18 artisans and over thirty artworks. Works vary from elaborate pottery and macrame hangings to fine figurative sculpture with a bit of fiber. All work is for sale. This show will give the viewer a feast for the eyes and senses. The opportunity to meet the artists will be on Sunday, July 7, 2024, from 1-2:30PM. The exhibit will be up from July 2-30, 2024.

We are looking for artists to participate in the exhibition with their outlook on our June 2024 New Mexico Landscapes show. Any media, including photography, painting, sculpture, fiber arts are all welcome. The intake for the exhibit will take place Saturday, June, 1, 2024, from 9AM - 12PM.
